Darren Cuthbertson has now been jailed
Darren Cuthbertson was travelling on a bus from London to Leeds when he started shouting the abuse, according to the Crown Prosecution Service . The 47-year-old had been drinking alcohol during the journey.
Greater Manchester Police officers arrested him. Cuthbertson later punched a wall while in the custody suite and caused damage to the cell door. On Monday , he was jailed for 14 weeks at Manchester Magistrates' Court. This included a six-week uplift to the sentence to mark the racial element of the offence.
