Emergency services raced to Tradstocks Westwood in Five Sisters Business Park, West Calder, after the alarm was raised at around 9.10am on Friday.

Ambulance crews attended but a 37-year-old was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware.

The company are a supplier of natural stone. Officers have informed the Health and Safety Executive and their enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. “Emergencies services attended but a 39-year-old man died at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware. The Health and Safety Executive have been made aware and enquiries are ongoing.”
