Children were arriving for breakfast club
A joiner and plasterer "completely lost his head" when he waved a machete around as children arrived outside a Nottinghamshire school. Kieron Larcombe brandished the weapon outside Brocklewood Primary School, in Fircroft Avenue, Bilborough, as he argued with another man.
Barrister Matt Haynes, prosecuting, said both men came head-to-head in the middle of the road off camera after 7.30am on July 7. Cars travelling to the school stopped as both men came together. After pleading guilty, the court heard he had previous convictions - 19 of them for 31 offences - including possessing an offensive weapon, causing grievous bodily harm, assaulting an emergency worker and using threatening behaviour.
