With everyone looking for a cheaper alternative these days, Sam decided that the 418-mile journey from London Victoria Coach Station to Edinburgh was the better option
A man has revealed how a nine-hour Megabus journey from London to Edinburgh turned out to be worse than he expected, but still hasn’t put him off using the service again.
His verdict? “From barely catching a wink of sleep to finding myself sat next to the cramped and overused toilet, I can honestly say that the trip was somehow worse than expected. I expected the queues to be non-existent on a Monday night, yet the London to Glasgow via Edinburgh Megabus service was jam packed.”
The trip was already off to a rocky start for Sam, who turned up at the London departure point at 11.15pm, on an empty stomach, only to find that most of the shops were closed. After scrambling around, he managed to find a small corner shop where he was able to pick up some drinks, snacks and a burger.
