A sum of money was reported stolen from the property following the incident on Dunluce Avenue
A man arrived at his home in Belfast to find a group of armed men fleeing the property after taking a sum of money.
It has been reported that a man returned to his address to find people standing in his hallway and that a knife was used to block his access to the property.READ MORE: Man to appear in court after cannabis factory uncovered in Ballymena A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in the Dunluce Avenue area of south Belfast on Thursday night, 28th September.
"There was one other man in the property at the time who was not injured, but left distressed by this incident. Enquiries are continuing and detectives would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1731 of 28/09/23.
