Lancashire Police were called to Leyland Lane in Leyland following reports of a stabbing near to the Spar shop on Friday night
Police have arrested an 18-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the head.
Officers found a man in his 20s with injuries to the head and body. He was taken to hospital and his condition is described as 'serious'.An 18-year-old male from Leyland has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody for questioning. A police spokesman said: "We were called to Leyland Lane, Leyland, at 7.38pm yesterday to reports of a stabbing. Emergency services have attended and found a man in his 20s with injuries to the head and body.
