A man’s fish and chips went stone cold after he was left in hysterics at the sight ofThe Scottish pop star wasn’t actually in the local chippy with Andy Thompson – but he did make an appearance… on the paper wrapping.
Mr Thompson was just about to devour his meal at home after picking up the all-time classic British takeaway when he was left starstruck by the singer-songwriter.The 34-year-old was stunned to find that grease on the paper had remarkably created Capaldi’s face – or at least he’s convinced that’s what it is.
Before he could take a bite, he immediately rang his partner and sent her a picture to show her what he’d come across.Lewis Capaldi’s face appeared in Andy’s chip wrapping : ‘I opened up the paper and looked down as I added the ketchup. I thought, “Woah, that’s Lewis Capaldi! It’s Lewis Capaldi!” ‘I phoned my missus, Wendy, as she’s more of a fan of his than I am and she couldn’t believe it either.The estate agent, from Paisley, near Glasgow, has kept the wrapping and said he would ‘like to send it’ to Capaldi.It might be starting to look a bit more like Elvis now… The singer, who is famous for big hits such as Someone You Loved and Before You Go, has been taking time out to focus on his health.
