Man United are closing in on the appointment of Dan Ashworth and remain hopeful of securing his arrival this summer,The Red Devils could see a breakthrough in negotiations with Newcastle United in the near future as they prepare to appoint Crystal Palace transfer chief Dougie Freedman as his replacement.official news on the 49-year-old joining Newcastle could come soon after the end of the 2023-24 campaign – which is just days away.
