Date published: Tuesday 10th January 2023 9:59 -Marcus Rashford scored two stoppage-time goals as Man Utd reached the last four of the Carabao Cup with a 3-0 win against League One Charlton.Martinez has made two substitute appearances since winning the World Cup with Argentina but was named in defence alongside Harry Maguire.Charlton, who are 12th in League One, were able to call on goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer who was absent at the weekend due to concussion protocols.
United had an opportunity to score a second but Fred’s 30-yard free-kick crashed into a post as it remained 1-0 at half-time.And two minutes later Rashford got his second and his side’s third.
