A man who was walking through Blackpool with his mum was punched in the face and knocked to the floor in an 'unprovoked attack'.
The man suffered damage to his jaw bone, swelling to the left-hand side of his face and bruising and swelling to the right-hand side of his body from where he fell over. Officers said the incident happened at around 6.30pm on May 27 but have been left unable to identify the culprit after following 'several lines of enquiry'.They have today issued a CCTV appeal of a man they want to speak to in connection with the assault and are asking anyone who recognised the man to get in contact.

As the victim turned round the offender punched him to the face, knocking him over. "We have followed several lines of enquiry but have been unable to identify the offender. We would now like to speak to the man in the attached image.
