Man who described owning own craft brewery as 'pipe dream' to open Salford taproom and kitchen
When Dan Wright lost his job during the Coronavirus pandemic, he could have never imagined that just three years later he would be putting the final touches on his very own taproom in Salford.
While the taproom will be ready to visit from next Friday, the brewery has been up and running for a few months, pumping out mostly European and American styles of beer like Kansas, their core American pale, Hellgate, a West Coast IPA and Rush, their California Common. “My little boy’s middle name is Fox, plus there’s loads of foxes near our house, and he’s orange rather than red as we refer to him as Rusty because our house is next to the Bridgewater Canal which is orange due to the rust - so it’s a nod to where we’ve come from but there’s also the old door from our garage on his jacket.”
