A jealous boyfriend who stabbed his tarot card reader partner more than 50 times after she tried to break up with him has been jailed for at least 18 years.

Prosecutor Paul Raudnitz KC said Xavier reacted by becoming ‘increasingly jealous and angry’ at the rejection. On the night of her death, Ms Guilherme had sent a series of messages to friends and family as a row with Xavier escalated. She texted a cousin to say ‘he picked up a knife’ and told Xavier’s sister: ‘David is crazy pointed a knife at me.’Latest London news
