Manchester murder suspect released after police confirm death of woman on Boxing Day no longer 'suspicious'
A murder suspect from Manchester has been released with no further action to be taken against him after a woman was found dead on Boxing Day. Emergency services were called to a house on Severn Road, Blackpool, at around 7pm on December 26 after reports a woman was unresponsive.
However, following a post mortem, Lancashire Police have since confirmed there are no longer thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman's death and released the suspect on Tuesday night . A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Earlier today we told you we had launched a murder inquiry after a woman was found deceased inside a property in Blackpool.
