Manchester United won't get much credit, if any, for their comeback win against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
Forest were fortunate to take a two-goal lead and didn't offer much else but a late surge at the end of either half, and on another day it could quite easily have been a comfortable home win for United.Ten Hag will not only have been happy with the response of his side after such an early scare, but he will also be delighted with a few of the individual performances, in particular the partnership on the right wing.
The 25-year-old is now the standout option at right-back, where he continues to excel as one of the best defensive full-backs in the Premier League and is showing steady improvement with his contributions in the final third. Antony so often led United's attacking play against Forest, and there was plenty of encouragement in how he not only created in his customary inverted role but how he wasn't afraid to go outside and use his weaker foot.
