Manchester United are keeping an eye on Barcelona's financial troubles with a view to approaching their exciting young talents Gavi and Pedri, according to reports in Spain.
As such, Ten Hag is thought to be planning to add another technician and Spanish outlet SPORT names United as one of several sides with Gavi and Pedri on their radar. Barcelona remained steadfast in keeping hold of Frenkie de Jong this summer but with no sign of their financial struggles easing, could be forced into raising funds through a big-money exit.
Elsewhere, Calciomercato reports that contract talks between Napoli and long-time United target Victor Osimhen have stalled. Osimhen will enter the final 12 months of his contract next summer and Napoli are keen to extend his stay in Italy. But talks with president Aurelio De Laurentiis have frozen, reportedly over salary disagreements.
