Andre Onana's Premier League debut for Man United was blemished by his unpunished error late on against Wolves.
Erik ten Hag admits new Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana will have to curb his proactive nature at times.
Wolves were inexplicably denied a penalty and their manager Gary O'Neil received an apology from referees' chief Jon Moss shortly after full-time. Referee Simon Hooper and VAR Michael Salisbury have been dropped for this weekend's round of matches. "But I will encourage, I like it. Players who are proactive and on the front foot, they are the type of players we need."
Ten Hag conceded some players were fatigued after a packed pre-season but stressed it was an accumulation of the calendar's schedule. The United manager also voiced his reservations about the new edict for officials to add on more injury time.
