The 27-year-old enjoyed another outstanding campaign with the Bees last time out, scoring 20 goals in 33 Premier League appearances. His form attracted widespread transfer interest, although it cooled amid the investigation and subsequent suspension. Elsewhere, Sky Sports. reports that Granada are in 'formal talks' with United over a potential loan deal for Alvaro Fernandez.
Discussions are said to be ongoing, with the Spanish side wanting an option to make the loan permanent - a clause that is yet to be agreed upon.
