Manchester Victoria is in the running to be named ‘Large Station of the Year’
Manchester Victoria station has been nominated for the prestigious title of 'Large Station of the Year' at the esteemed 2023 National Rail Awards.
The station is under the management of Northern, the second largest train operator in the UK, who will find out if they have won the title at an awards ceremony on Thursday, 14 September. Artwork by local artist LoveArtPix was unveiled at the station with a second commission seven months later due to popularity from passengers. While new water dispensers and vending machines were installed in December 2022.
