After the popularity of the faux leather crossbody shoppers said was a ‘dupe’ for a £3,000 Celine bag, Marks and Spencer have done it again - and it’s perhaps even better.
The Faux Leather Underarm bag is one of the best alternatives we’ve seen for the designer purse, boasting similar rounded corners and a short strap, OK reports. And what’s even better is that its lack of reviews on the M&S website means it’s so far gone under the radar and is still in stock.The bag features a similar looking fabric, though Prada’s is made from brushed real leather rather than faux. Despite the difference, the high-street version still looks pretty luxurious.
Then there’s the question of the price tag, with Prada’s Cleo Bag coming in at £2,400, compared to the high street’s budget £25 version, saving nearly 90%. Although we can’t stop daydreaming about Prada’s version, we’re probably not going to be shelling out nearly £2.5k any time soon, making Marks and Spencer’s affordable purse the perfect alternative.
