talkSPORT understands he has been offered and now accepted the job at St Mary’s, meaning he will be the Saints’ third manager of the season.Jones had been appointed after the club dismissed Ralph Hasenhuttl in November with the Saints in the relegation zone with 12 points after 14 games. But Jones failed to drive them any closer to safety and was shown the door just 95 days on from his arrival.He is set to face former side Leeds in just his second game in charge, with Southampton travelling to Elland Road in a relegation six pointer on February 25.
