The offences happened in Skelmersdale within three days of each other and involved four offenders on two motorbikes. Lancashire Constabulary said the first incident happened on Tawd Valley Retail Park on Sunday, August 20.
Lancashire Constabulary yesterday, Wednesday, August 23 released several CCTV images as part of an appeal and have asked anyone who witnessed the violent robberies or who recognises those involved to contact officers. "The first incident occurred at 21:50hrs 20/08/2023 on Tawd Valley Retail Park when the teenage victim was cycling across the carpark and was surrounded by 4 males on 2 motorcycles bikes who assaulted him before stealing his mountain bike. The males have then ridden off using the underpass towards Birch Green carrying the stolen bike.
"The bike has been stolen and the 4 males have made off on the motorcycles carrying the stolen bike towards High Street. The victim sustained injuries as a result of the incident.
