BREAKING: Massive police presence outside Buckingham Palace as reports man detained
There are reports of a massive police presence outside Buckingham Palace in London this evening after a man was detained.
He was also said to be in possession of a suspicious bag, police added. The BBC reports that a controlled explosion has taken place outside the Palace this evening.The incident unfolded at around 7pm this evening , after the man was seen to approach the gates of the palace. The man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and has been taken to custody, the Met Police said.
No further details have been released about the incident at this stage. According to GB News, there is a 'massive police presence' outside the grounds.
