MasterChef winner Simon Wood announces new 'casual' dining at his acclaimed Manchester restaurant
Former MasterChef champion Simon Wood has announced a new style menu for his award-winning Manchester restaurant WOOD. The acclaimed chef is to celebrate the restaurant's sixth year on First Street with a 'more casual approach to dining'.
Announcing the menu update this week, Simon said: “WOOD has always been about bringing passion and creativity together to meet powerful flavours in an unintimidating environment and this still rings true. The menu features favourites including Koji Cured Bavette and Simon’s cheeky take on Ham, Egg and Chips; plus new dishes like chicken glazed lamb sweetbreads and celeriac shawarma.
