Footballer Jermaine Pennant said he 'would not be allowed to walk the streets again' if he didn't win the challenge.
The former UK Health Secretary had been boasting that he was prepared for the hard military training after his time at Westminster.
But, as reports the Mirror, it’s not long before the MP finds out just exactly what the instructors think of him as Fox tells his colleagues: “I get the impression he’s got a bit of an attitude and he thinks he’s above everyone.” Speaking at a press launch earlier this week, Pennant explained his thoughts when he first discovered who he was up against in the challenge.
He was then grilled by Jason Fox and new DS Chris Oliver over his reasons for appearing on the show, as he admitted he regretted showing a lack of “leadership skills” after he was caught having an affair with aide Gina Coladangelo during the Covid pandemic, but he still insisted he did a “pretty good job” at handling the health crisis.
