He said: 'And I'm sorry we're not Rage Against The Machine but who's Rage Against The Machine?'
The 1975 frontman Matt Healy has finally addressed those controversial comments he made at Leeds Festival earlier this year.
There was some people who weren’t happy with The 1975 being booked. On stage, lead singer Matt Healy addressed this.He said: "Seventeen of the past 20 years I have been stood here with you guys so this means so f******* much to me that you guys are here right now. "Being literally in Rage Against The Machine and having a gammy leg is quite funny though. We're The 1975 so we're just going to be The 1975 as much as we can. We weren't even supposed to do this we were going to come on tour and see you guys and do specific stuff but we thought 'f*** it, we'll do a greatest hits set to start out our campaign'."
“We f**king love Rage so much. I think I was so conflicted by how weird it was for me to even accept putting myself in the same league as them that I couldn’t even get my words out right.”
