MCDONALD'S has made a major change to its menu with the McPlant burger now permanently available at all UK restaurants.at 250 branches since last autumn, bosses of the popular fast food chain have decided to make it a full-time fixture on the menu.Food boffins at McDonald's have been creating the McPlant burger for the past three years.
It includes a Beyond Meat patty and vegan cheese topped with gherkins, tomato, lettuce, ketchup and a vegan burger sauce in a classic sesame seed bun.But prices will vary between restaurants. It's also Vegetarian Society vegan approved - meaning there will be no cross contamination with animal products in the supply chain or the kitchen.Most read in The Sun
