Conor McGregor releases new statement on sexual assault allegations following video
Conor McGregor released a new statement branding the sexual assault allegations against him a 'shakedown'.that he sexually assaulted a woman in a bathroom at game four of the NBA Finals in Miami on June 9.A video released by TMZ claims to have shown the UFC star take the accuser by the hand and into another room at the Kaseya Center, Miami.
Following the release of this clip, a statement from McGregor read: “After the video was released by TMZ, the claimant’s lawyer now has changed her story. “Mr. McGregor welcomes the investigation, which he firmly believes will show the claims against him are false. “After not responding to the demand for money made by claimant’s counsel, she turned to the media to apply pressure. This is no more than a shakedown.”
