Meghan Markle has reportedly hired a UK-based PR person, and it's raising some questions, like, 'Why now?'
This is the first time Prince Harry and Meghan have had a UK-based employee since they left the UK in 2020, according to Pandora Forsyth who recently appeared on GB News. Forsyth finds the timing curious, asking, "Why now? Why the business change? "
Anne Diamond, the host of GB News, suggests that the new PR hire might be planning to recommend that the Sussexes spend more time in the UK as a way to win over the public. Harry has expressed his desire to spend more time in the UK following King Charles's cancer diagnosis.Forsyth speculates that Meghan is stepping up her PR efforts because they're about to launch an exciting new project, which some people are comparing to Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop lifestyle brand.
She also suggests that Meghan might be choosing a British approach over an American one to improve her image in the UK. Forsyth says that Harry and Meghan's popularity in the UK is waning, stating, "But, we know, as well, that Harry and Meghan are struggling with popularity in the UK and that's just a fact, the polls do say that."
Despite some people telling Forsyth that everyone loves Harry and Meghan, she believes that most people are "confused" by them. She concludes by saying, "It will be interesting to see what this PR will be able to do them for them in the UK.", reports the Express.
