Jessica was a highly influential figure in Meghan’s life, with one palace insider even suggesting to the Mail on Sunday that Meghan frequently confided in her friend about the couple’s plans to step down as royals. The source said: "Jessica was more influential on “Megxit” than anyone really realized."
In response to the claims, Jessica wrote via Instagram: “As I told you privately, I have lived a very public and personal experience with my closest friend where race was front and centre. It was deeply educational. I learned a lot from that. I promise to continue to learn and listen on how I can use my privilege to elevate and support Black voices.”
