Visit My Mosque was founded eight years ago
Visit My Mosque aims to foster multi-faith relations in the community and to tackle misconceptions about Islam. The event will take place on September 23 and 24 across the UK.
Mosques have long been a part of the story of the UK and the event will present people of all faiths with the opportunity to discover the history of local mosques and Muslim communities through tours and conversation. The Al-Rahma Mosque, founded in 1953, now serves over 60 nationalities and the building on Mulgrave Street has undergone several renovations to accommodate 2,000-plus worshippers each week.
