The Met Office has said rain will be 'persistent' on Saturday
Southport Pleasureland has announced it will be closed for one day this weekend over "bad weather" concerns.
The post read: "Due to bad weather forecasted for the 22nd July 2023 , we have taken the decision to close the park on this day for guest comfort and safety. Those who have booked tickets, please see our Rain Check policy on our website for more information."We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your understanding."
The Met Office has said rain will be "persistent" on Saturday in Southport, with downpours being heavy at times. There is due to be a fresh breeze developing in the day, but humidity will build into the evening giving a maximum temperature of 18 degrees.
