The Met Office has said homes and businesses 'are likely to be flooded'
The Met Office has warned that flooding poses a 'danger to life' after issuing an amber weather warning for Nottinghamshire. Homes and businesses 'are likely to be flooded, causing damage to some buildings' as Storm Babet sweeps across the country.
The warning is valid from noon on Friday, October 20, until Saturday, October 21. The Met Office said: "Persistent heavy rain brings the likelihood of some flooding and disruption." "Delays and some cancellations to train and bus services are likely. Spray and flooding probably leading to difficult driving conditions and some road closures."
