England take on Spain in the Women's World Cup final on Sunday, August 20
Excitement is building as England prepare to feature in their first ever Women's World Cup final. The Lionesses will take on Spain on Sunday after beating co-hosts Australia 3-1 in the semi-finals.
As seems almost compulsory when England play in major tournaments in the summer, many will be thinking of watching the game outdoors. The weather hasn't quite got the memo about it being summer so far but the Met Office has released its forecast for Sunday.The Met Office forecast is for a partly cloudy day with sunny intervals. Temperatures are expected to reach around 20C by the time England kick off at 11am.
In fact, it should be a pleasant weekend in Nottingham. Temperatures are also expected to reach 23C on Saturday .
