A yellow weather warning for snow covering the whole of Northern Ireland has been issued by the Met Office.
The forecaster said: "A period of snowfall could bring some disruption on Thursday and into Friday morning."READ MORE: NI Assembly urged to deliver climate action plan and nature restoration bill They continued: "A band of rain, sleet, and increasingly snow, will push north on Thursday bringing up to 2cm snow at lower-levels, 2-5cm on ground above 200m, and perhaps as much as 15-25cm above 400m, along with a risk of some icy conditions.
It comes as on Monday, the forecaster had told Belfast Live: "A touch of snow could come into Northern Ireland over the higher ground over the likes of the Mourne Mountains, if the front pushes slightly further forward there's potential for hill snow and sleet to higher levels.
