Met Office has issued a 14-hour thunderstorm warning across parts of Lancashire and the north west this morning ..
The forecaster has issued a yellow warning, stating there will be a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water or hail and that could lead to longer journeys by car and bus. They've also stated that delays to train services are possible and damage to buildings and structures from lightning strikes may occur.Flooding is also a possibility for some homes and businesses, leading to damage to these areas.
