Across Lancashire and the whole of England, freezing temperatures are expected as very cold air spreads across the UK from today (March 6)
This morning will see light rain changing to cloudy by late morning. At 11pm and into the early hours of Tuesday morning light rain showers are forecast so you could be waking up to snow tomorrow.
These light snow showers will be a reoccurring theme at night as they are expected again tomorrow night. Temperatures aren't expected to rise above 7C all week and could drop as low as -4C.It's looking a little milder in Blackpool, however, it definitely won't be mild by any means. Today the Met Office has forecast it will be cloudy changing to light showers by late morning.It is expected to be cloudy most of the week.
The highest temperature of the week is expected on Saturday and it could rise to 8C. However, temperatures as low as -4C could be seen tomorrow.It's going to be a mostly cloudy week across Lancaster, however, we could experience some sun tomorrow. No snow is forecast for the area. Across Lancaster, the Met Office doesn't predict that temperatures will drop below -3C. As we head towards the weekend it will warm up a little with 7C and 8C predicted.After a rainy start to the week in Preston, there could be snow tomorrow. The Met Office has forecast the day will start out clear but by nighttime, there could be snow showers.
This is the only snow forecast for Preston this week. Temperatures aren't expected to drop below -1C all week.
