The Met Office has warned that the weather could create unpleasant travel conditions

The Met Office has warned of a possible thunderstorm as a showery band of rain moves across Northern Ireland.

The heavy rain is expected to last until at least 6pm tonight when the weather should dry, which will continue overnight with forecast predicting dry and sunny weather in the morning.Although there could be some isolated showers, particularly in the North Coast region through the night.
