A photo on Facebook claims to show how ‘Warnborough Council’ has badly mounted a metal pole on the pavement. But Hampshire County Council, who complete such work in the Warnborough area, confirmed this does not relate to any of their equipment.

What was claimed

The post, which appeared on 13 July and has over 14,000 likes, says: “4000 years ago the Egyptians built the Pyramids, which still remain standing today. Last week, Warnborough Council completed the following job.”
