Mia Goth’s dark, romantic aesthetic is just as captivating as her performances in ‘X’ and ‘Pearl’.
As her stardom has skyrocketed, Goth’s ensembles have gotten bolder. At the Toronto Film Festival in September, she hit the carpet forwearing Dolce’s black lace dress with a sheer veil – a haunting, though beautiful, accessory choice. At the Academy Museum Gala this month, she proved she can also strip things back in Giorgio Armani’s black velvet dress, punctuated with a deep V-neck neckline.
In a sea of stars who compete to be the boldest and flashiest on the red carpet, Goth’s all-black wardrobe choices have been a more stealthy approach to standing out . Her ensembles have channelled the sinister vibe of her films, but in a much more elevated and polished way. And withcoming to theatres sometime in the near future, we can only hope she’ll continue on delivering with her slightly macabre looks.
