The Ibrox boss faces mounting pressure after back to back defeats to PSV and Celtic.
Bullish Rangers boss Michael Beale insists he does not feel his job is under threat after talks with the Ibrox board.
But Beale states that he has held discussions with the board about the the start to the season and remains confident over his position. Ahead of the clash with St Johnstone the boss was quizzed on if he had been given "assurances" over his future. He responded: "Listen, I don’t need assurances. I am part of plan in terms of where we are going as a club. It is something that I am fully involved in and aware of and ultimately a football manager needs to win games of football.
The boss was then pressed on if he felt is his job was in "peril", before continuing: "No, listen I am disappointed with the results just like everybody else. I think that sometimes small margins can make a big difference in a game, and in the last one I think that was the case.
