The Ibrox gaffer revealed the news post-match against Motherwell as he explained the changes to his line-up. The midfielder has only just returned from over a year on the sidelines.
Tom Lawrence is having a scan on an injury he picked up against Real Betis and will likely be out until after the international break.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound, he said: "Two are enforced. Tom Lawrence came off with what he thought was cramp but when he came in the next morning it was more than that. He's away having a scan and probably miss the next couple of games into the international break which is disappointing as he is such a big player.
