The Tweet described Kate Middleton as “talentless and boney” and called her a 'prim, anaemic and vacuous woman'
Belfast boxer Michael Conlan has posted a statement on Twitter apologising for liking a tweet which criticised the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.
Former IRA prisoner Tim Brannigan took to Twitter after the presentations and shared an image of the princess and her family. He described Middleton as “talentless and boney” and called her a "prim, anaemic and vacuous woman".Belfast boxer Conlan liked the tweet from Brannigan before later apologising and saying that had been done accidentally.
“I deleted the accidental like as soon as I was made aware of it I and apologise for any offence caused."
