As London funnyman Michael McIntyre once again returns to our screens to present The Wheel, we take a closer look at his life off-screen, including his rise to success
From side splitting jokes to his cheeky grin, it's safe to say Michael McIntyre is no stranger to fame.
Raised alongside his sister, Lucy, Michael grew up in London with both his parents, and even holds dual citizenship with Britain and Canada, as his dad was originally from there. As a result, a number of comedy panel appearances soon followed on shows such as Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of Ten Cats and Would I Lie To You?
Among some of his notable work in recent years, Michael has presented The Michael McIntyre Chat Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, and most recently he has been the host of gameshow The Wheel both on the UK edition, and the US spinoff. Despite being initially uninterested, Michael was able to successfully woo Kitty and the couple later began dating - although not all of his family were thrilled with the news.
Kitty currently works as an aromatherapist, and unlike her husband prefers to remain out of the spotlight.
