Novelist Milan Kundera, famous for his work The Unbearable Lightness of Being, has died
g has died at the age of 94, it has been announced.Anna Mrazova, spokeswoman for the Milan Kundera Library, said: “Unfortunately I can confirm that Mr Milan Kundera passed away yesterday [Tuesday] after a prolonged illness,” she said.
Kundera, who was born in the Czech city of Brno in 1929, went into exile in France in 1975 after criticising the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968.
