Nutmeg's owners say it is 'so wonderful' to have her back after she was found at a Crewe supermarket.

By Alice Cullinane & Lee BlakemanA cat has been reunited with her owners after she was found 140 miles away from her home.She was returned two weeks later after staff found her at a supermarket in Crewe, Cheshire.

Nutmeg's owners William Earp and Martha Street said it was a "huge relief" to have their "mischievous and curious" cat back home. "It feels so wonderful to have her home, she was tired and subdued, but welcoming cuddles which was all we wanted," they added.Owners William Earp and Martha Street said Nutmeg was settling back into her home

Animal rescue charity CAFO returned Nutmeg home after scanning her microchip and getting in touch with the owners."I think astounded isn't strong enough to describe how we all felt," she added.
