'Saliva entered the officer's mouth'
A teenager who was reported missing and found on a train was arrested after assaulting a police officer.
The 16-year-old was travelling on the train which stopped at Carnforth. British Transport Police officers who located the teen attempted to stop him boarding. The teen attempted to board the train and assaulted officers in the process. BTP say he head butted one officer in the face.He then spat with the saliva reportedly going into a second officer's mouth. The teen was arrested and bailed for Youth Offending Team referral.
A spokesperson for BTP said: "A 16-year old youth reported missing was found by officers at #Carnforth. "As they went to prevent him boarding a train, he head butted one officer in the face. He then spat, with the saliva going in the second officer’s mouth. #Arrested & bailed for Youth Offending Team referral."
