at Nottingham's newly-named micro pub Mist Rolling Inn even though it has been inspired by the Forest faithful's anthem. It's the latest reincarnation for the tiny drinking hole which was previously The Good, The Bad & The Drunk and before that Room with a Brew in Derby Road - the stretch between the Strathdon Hotel and Canning Circus.
The criticism led to manager Fran Creed's retort: "Really sad to see a lot of County fans saying they won’t even come in the pub due to the name now! The name is special to Rob as a Forest fan but it is still just a micro pub. In these hard times especially for independent pubs would be nice if everyone could just be nice."
One said: "Small minded idiots. I and many other Forest fans regularly drank in the Magpie on Daleside Road pre Forest games. What difference does it make?" They say no publicity is bad publicity and the Twitter furore has brought the pub to the attention of Forest fans from afar who said they'd make a special effort to visit.
The ales change weekly. Currently on draught are Tiny Rebel's Peloton session pale, Shipstone's Original and Aldwark Artisan Ales' Hare of the Hill. Coming up soon will be Wantsum Brewery's Cashmere pale ale, Tiny Rebel's 93 'Til Infinity and Welbeck Abbey's Hennymoor golden ale. "I worked in the motor trade.
