Chris and Debbie met online in December 2022
Chris Jones, 53, from North Wales, proposed to his girlfriend Debbie Summers on Saturday while at Leeds fest. The couple - who both love headlining act The Killers - met online in December 2022.
Chris and Debbie drove to Bramham Park from North Wales on Saturday morning, where Chris later proposed to his now fiancé. Chris said: "I love my music and especially The Killers was amazing, they were so good live. Our ears are still ringing. Our love of music made it the perfect place to propose." Debbie said: "I got up to have my photo taken, then he got down on one knee and I couldn't talk. I'm never speechless. I couldn't look up, I was totally overwhelmed, Chris was very emotional for the rest of evening.
