The incident happened at Stratheck Holiday Park in Dunoon, after nearby Loch Eck broke its banks on Saturday night following heavy rain which caused chaos across the country - forcing road closures and train cancellations.
Footage has shown the horrifying moment caravans were swept away during mass flooding at a holiday park in Argyll and Bute.
The holiday park is located between Benmore and Loch Eck and is situated just off the A815, where multiple people had to be rescued after a landslide. "The phone line, electricity and water have temporarily been disconnected from the park and caravans/lodges are being pulled back from the water's edge where possible."The team has been working throughout the night and day to ensure the safety of everyone at the park. Due to this recent development with power being turned off, it means that people will be unable to contact the park directly.
