CCTV footage used in the terror attack investigation shows the moment the bomb went 'off early' outside the Liverpool Women's Hospital
New CCTV footage released shows the moment a taxi drive miraculously survived the Liverpool Women's Hospital bombing.
Speaking after the explosion, Mr Perry says he is still haunted by the “clown-like” grin on evil Emad Al-Swealmeen’s face as he glanced at him in his rear-view mirror seconds before the bomb went off. He said there was an odd and “chilling silence” behind him as he tried to make small talk and asked the bomber if his wife had had a baby.
"Just before getting to the hospital, I said to him ‘has your wife had a baby mate?’ But I got no response at all and I thought ‘something is not right here’. I’ve looked in the mirror and I’ve just got this picture of a clown smiling at me and holding something."
